If you have a Sales/Marketing background (or, are just getting started) and you're passionate about sports, especially ice hockey, we want to talk with you! We are always seeking talented individuals to join our team.
Here's how it works:
- You source the internet for ice hockey-related retailer leads (IT'S SUPER-EASY)
- Make contact, via phone or by e-mail, and offer to mail several FREE samples of our ice hockey stickers (WHO SAYS NO TO FREE STUFF?)
- Confirm the business name, shipping address and contact persons name (EASY, OF COURSE)
- Forward your lead to your SlapShotSticker.com Manager (EASY, OF COURSE)
- Your samples will be mailed the following day - you'll receive a confirmation e-mail (EASY, YOU DO NOTHING)
- It is your responsibility to follow-up with your contact within one (1) week to confirm receipt of the samples (PUT THE CALL-BACK DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR)
- * This is the most difficult step - Getting your contact/decision maker on the phone again (THEY ARE HANDS-ON AND USUALLY VERY BUSY)
- Answer questions and secure the sale (THERE ARE NO MINIMUMS AND THEY CAN MIX-AND-MATCH DESIGNS SO SELLING THEM AS FEW AS FIVE (5) STICKERS SHOULDN'T BE THAT TOUGH)
- * Once they see that our stickers sell in their store, they'll increase the amount of their re-order (YEE HA!)
- Login and enter the details of your sale via this website (EASY, PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL FOR ACCURACY)
- Your order will ship within 3-5 business days - you'll be notified via e-mail (EASY, YOU DO NOTHING)
- The customer will be invoiced the day your order ships (EASY, YOU DO NOTHING)
- Upon payment from your customer, you will receive 20% commission of the sale amount - excluding the cost to ship the order (EASY, SIT BACK AND COLLECT THE CASH!)
- If your customer is late to pay (or no pay), it is your responsibility to make collection calls/send collection e-mails (TRY YOUR CONTACT ONCE OR TWICE AND THEN GO DIRECTLY TO ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AT THE PRO SHOP OR ICE RINK)
- No commission is paid until the customer makes payment (THAT SUCKS, HUH)
- Within 3-5 days of receiving payment from your customer, a commission check will be mailed to you - we do not deduct taxes (KEEP CHECKING THE MAIL)
There are approximately 4500 ice rink pro shops in North America, numerous sporting goods stores/chains that carry ice hockey equipment (i.e., Play It Again Sports), several major on-line retailers that carry ice hockey equipment and thousands of youth ice hockey organizations in North America (see our Fund Raising link) and if you get creative beyond ice rinks, the possibilities are endless (i.e., Auto Repair Shops/Tire Dealers in Canada, etc.).
If interested, contact us through this website and a member of our Management team will contact you within 48 hours, most likely, sooner. Oh yeah, as long as you're a Member of TeamSlapShot, you'll receive a 20% commission on each and every re-order from that customer, year after year after year!
